Anecdote participates in Gingertown 2025

Gingertown was founded in 2006 in Washington D.C by David M. Schwarz Architects, and presented in Nashville by ESA since 2010. Gingertown is a one-of-a-kind holiday that brings the AEC community together.

This year’s masterplan for the magical town was World’s Fair.

Created in partnership with Barton Malow Builders, the Rolo Coaster, designed by the creative team at Anecdote, brings the World’s Fair–themed town to life as a whimsical waterfront amusement park. This pretzel-built roller coaster features Santa’s sleigh and gummy-bear reindeer racing down icing-covered tracks, complete with a gravity-defying Twizzler loop that delights visitors of all ages. Along the shoreline, a golden Rolo boardwalk leads guests through a festive landscape of green rock-candy trees and a charming Swedish Fish stand. Gingerbread guests line up at the covered coaster platform, adding to the immersive holiday experience.

The Rolo Coaster highlights Anecdote’s commitment to creative storytelling, meticulous craft, and unforgettable seasonal design.
